A quick FAQ for recruiters, hiring managers, and curious goblins.
I start with semantic HTML, color contrast, and keyboard navigation, then layer in ARIA where it actually adds value. I also run automated checks and do manual testing with keyboard and screen readers.

I have a degree in creative writing from SCSU, I am working on a novel right now. But turns out, you have to know someone who is already in the business of novels. So I fell into helping people with WordPress sites. Now I like to think I use my creative writing mind to write creative code.
I have two little girls (8yo, 4yo) who keep me pretty busy and require lots of snacks. Sometimes I wonder if they are Hobbits. Me and my husband have four cats, Tinsel (17!), Luna (14!), Vespa (2?), Pippin(1.5). We also have a dog, Blue(13ish). And one corn snake (Mocha), that we got for our 8 year old and then she sort of stopped caring about snakes, so now WE have a snake. I love Icelandic Folk Metal, most all metal really. I prefer to listen to it while I code. I prefer a hot cup of coffee, it fuels my brain.
